Employees paid to have sex?

Per-Erik Muskos a 42-year-old concerned councilor from the northern town of Overtornea in Sweden suggested that the city’s 550 municipal workers should be allowed one hour per week to go home and have sex. The councilor has launched this bold proposal to improve worker morale, spice up their marriages  and give a nudge to the dwindling local population. He said everyday stresses in life can put a strain on relationships, arguing Swedish couples don’t get enough quality together, which makes it difficult for them to express their love “I believe that sex is a scarce commodity in many long relationships. Everyday life is stressful and the children are at home. This could be an opportunity to have their own time.”

Some critics fear single workers could while away their working hours on dating apps trying to find a date. The motion put forward by the member must be debated and voted on in the spring. The opinion on the council is divided and his proposal has been meet with praise, ridicule and criticism.
